Lacuna Atlas is a virtual-reality universe explorer for Meta Quest. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. The short version: no accounts, no personal information, no ads — only anonymous usage analytics.

What we collect

Analytics data. Lacuna Atlas uses GameAnalytics, a third-party analytics service, to understand how the app is used and to improve it. GameAnalytics receives:

This data is pseudonymous: we cannot identify you from it, and we do not attempt to. GameAnalytics processes this data on our behalf under their own privacy policy, available at gameanalytics.com/privacy. Analytics data is retained according to GameAnalytics' standard retention periods.

Nothing else. The app has no user accounts and collects no name, email address, contacts, location, microphone or camera data, and no data from your Meta account beyond the standard app-entitlement check Meta requires for store apps.

What stays on your device

Your settings and progress (tuning preferences, star-hunt scores and ranks, tutorial completion) are stored locally on your headset only and are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them.

What we don't do

Children

Lacuna Atlas is an educational astronomy experience with no chat, no user-generated content, and no purchases. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

If you would like the analytics data associated with your device identifier deleted, contact us at the email above and we will pass the request to GameAnalytics.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
